Date: 9/1/2017 Time: Phone: (843) 665-0515 Event Description: Leadership Florence is a comprehensive nine-month program designed to identify, cultivate and motivate new leadership for the Greater Florence Area. Participants will increase their knowledge of the Greater Florence area, and enhance their involvement in community activities while further developing their leadership skills. ATTENDANCE The program begins with a Meet & Greet in August and ends with graduation in June. Sessions are one full day per month (usually the 2nd Tuesday of each month). You are also required to the Building Bridges Diversity Summit, at least one law enforcement ride-along and one City/County Council Meeting. The Leadership Class will complete a class project during the program, in which the proceeds will be donated to charity. Recent projects are Downtown Gala, Find Me Downtown and BBQ for a Cause. Participants may not miss more than two days of class to graduate. Attendance at all sessions is expected. The Opening Retreat, Team Building Exercise and State Government are mandatory sessions. TUITION Tuition is $1295 if your company is a member, $1695 if they are not members. A $200 deposit must accompany this completed application. The tuition balance ($1095) is due before August 1, 2017. The Leadership Committee reserves the right to deny the participant eligibility for graduation for failure to attend scheduled sessions.
