First Time Responder Program @ Webster University

Webster University's First Responder Program provides a DISCOUNTED TUITION RATE for all qualified law enforcement, Fire and EMT personnel to enroll in any undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree program offered at any Webster University campus in the United States or online (Note: Doctoral degree only available @ the in-class main Webster Groves campus). The goal of the program is to partner with America's First Responders to offer quality educational programs. Program details: • All law enforcement (Police, Sheriff, Trooper, dispatchers, etc.), Fire (full-time, volunteer, dispatchers, etc.) and EMT personnel (full-time, part-time, dispatchers, etc.) who can prove they are in a First Responder position (valid "First Responder" ID card, e-mail/letter from their Supervisor, etc.) will be eligible for the tuition discount. *First Responder students at extended campus locations should present their First Responder documentation to the extended campus staff for validation. Online students should submit their First Responder documentation to the Academic Advising for validation. • Tuition discount applicable for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral coursework offered at any Webster University campus in the United States or online (Doctoral degree only available @ the in-class main Webster Groves campus) • Eligible First Responders will receive the military tuition rate • There is no application fee waiver associated with this program • The tuition discount is applicable for the Fall 2013 term forward and is not retroactive for previous terms of enrollment. • The tuition discount must be applied during enrollment and will not be retroactive for previous terms of enrollment Information on the program can be found on www.webster.edu/firstresponder. Graduate Tuition Rates and Fees The tuition rates listed are effective for the 2013-2014 academic year and are subject to change. Please note: Non-military students have higher tuition rates. Active Duty Military, Reservists, and National Guard* Students enrolled in: • Metropolitan Locations1: $340/credit hour = $1,020/course • Military Locations: $340/credit hour • Online Courses: $470/credit hour 1 Except doctoral students and other specialized degree areas * Retired military, federal and contract employees of the installation, and dependents of active duty military also qualify for a reduced tuition rate in on-base in-class courses. Fees • Application fee (degree and non-degree: nonrefundable): $50 • Graduation fee (nonrefundable): $50 Lab fees may be assessed for selected classes.
