2022 - 2023 Leadership Florence 8/1/2022 - 5/31/2023

Leadership Florence is a comprehensive nine-month program designed to identify, cultivate and motivate new leadership for the Greater Florence Area. Participants will increase their knowledge of the Greater Florence area, and enhance their involvement in community activities while further developing their leadership skills.

ATTENDANCE
The program begins with a Meet & Greet in August and ends with graduation in June 2023. Sessions are one full day per month.

You are also required to attend the half day Building Bridges Diversity Session and one City/County Council Meeting. The Leadership Class will complete a class project during the program, in which the proceeds will be donated to chosen charities. Recent projects are Downtown Gala, Find Me Downtown , Disco Ball and Kickball for a Cause.

Participants may not miss more than two days of class to graduate. Attendance at all sessions is expected. The Opening Retreat, Team Building Exercise and State Government are mandatory sessions.

TUITION
$1295 for members and $1695 for non-members. A $325 deposit must accompany this completed application. The tuition balance is due before Tueday, September 6, 2022. The Leadership Committee reserves the right to deny the participant eligibility for graduation for failure to attend scheduled sessions or non-payment of full tuition.

The mission of the Young Professionals of Florence group is to mobilize the young professionals of Florence to support and enhance leadership, civic responsibility and business growth.

Simply put, we’re here for you. We hope that as this organization continues to grow, that it will be able to provide an increasing array of business and social services to all area young professionals looking for a network to help them reach out to the community.

Membership Fee: $40 per year - Membership Runs January - December 2023

SOLD OUT - The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Legislative & Community Breakfast will be held on Friday, February 24th. Speakers for this informational breakfast will be Florence City Police Chief Allen Heidler, Florence County Sheriff T.J. Joye and S.C. Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Chief Mark Keel.

Our state and local law enforcement agencies work tirelessly to enhance public safety for our homes, workplaces, parks, roads and community spaces each day. This breakfast is a great opportunity to find out more about the current and future efforts being made for keeping our public safe.

Doors will open for the breakfast at 7:30am and the program will begin at 7:50am.

Individual tickets are $25 for members. Reserved tables of 8 are available for $225. All those attending must register prior to the event as this event will quickly sell out.
