&lt;p&gt;Simply put, we&amp;rsquo;re here for you. We hope that as this organization continues to grow, that it will be able to provide an increasing array of business and social services to all area young professionals looking for a network to help them reach out to the community.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Leadership Florence is the area&amp;rsquo;s most popular and comprehensive business leadership program in the region. The once-a-month sessions are designed to identify, cultivate and motivate leadership in our businesses and to familiarize participants about our community and enhance their involvement in business, civic and government activities while developing future leadership skills and business relationships.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The program begins with orientation in August and ends with graduation in May 2026.&amp;nbsp;Come and be a part of the 35 years of Leadership Florence experience.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;strong&gt;ATTENDANCE&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The program begins with a Meet &amp;amp; Greet in August and ends with graduation in May 2026.&amp;nbsp; Sessions are one full day per month.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You are also required to attend the half day Building Bridges Diversity Session&amp;nbsp;and one City/County Council Meeting. The Leadership Class will complete a class project during the program, in which the proceeds will be donated to chosen charities. Recent projects are Downtown Gala, Find Me Downtown, Disco Ball and Kickball for a Cause.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Participants may not miss more than two days of class to graduate.&amp;nbsp; Attendance at all sessions is expected.&amp;nbsp; The Opening Retreat, Team Building Exercise and State Government are mandatory sessions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;u&gt;&lt;strong&gt;TUITION&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
$1395 for members and $1795 for non-members. A $325 deposit must accompany this completed application. The tuition balance is due before Friday, September 5, 2025. The Leadership Committee reserves the right to deny the participant eligibility for graduation for failure to attend scheduled sessions or non-payment of full tuition.&lt;/p&gt;

This effort is meant to allow regional voices to be heard in the crafting of a comprehensive economic growth plan designed to address the challenges and opportunities facing the South Carolina economy.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Florence &amp;amp; Hartsville Chambers, along with Florence County Economic Development Progress, are partnering with the South Carolina Chamber to help coordinate and host this luncheon meeting for the Pee Dee. All regional chambers of commerce and economic development teams, and their members, are invited to participate side-by-side with business and industry leaders.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The meetings will include a live survey (via Menti) and will allow for open-ended questions for greater business discussions. The South Carolina Chamber has partnered with Grant Thornton to draft the Blueprint, and with your input, we can make this statewide effort for our economic future a great success.&lt;br /&gt;

The keynote speaker will be Joe Armas, President, Otis U.S &amp;amp; Canada.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;During his 20-plus year Otis career, Joe Armas has held several leadership roles in the U.S. and Asia. He has been involved in numerous projects that have introduced innovative technology in the industry, including several iconic projects around the world. Joe is well respected by his colleagues and professional network for his knowledge of diverse markets and customers. He was proud to serve as Chairman for the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in 2022.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Prior to joining Otis, Joe spent six years as an Officer in the United States Army. He holds a bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree in aeronautics and astronautics engineering from the University of Washington, an MBA from Purdue University, and a Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Otis is 72,000 people strong, including 44,000 field professionals, all committed to manufacturing, installing and maintaining products to meet the diverse needs of their customers. They have 2.4 million customer units worldwide, the industry&amp;rsquo;s largest portfolio. They can be found in many of the world&amp;rsquo;s most recognizable buildings as well as the busiest transportation hubs and retail centers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Chamber&amp;rsquo;s Membership Luncheon event will include the announcement and presentation of the Business Person of the Year award, which is sponsored by Anderson Brothers Bank.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The luncheon will be held at the Florence Center, doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon. Registration is $45 for members, $55 for non-members and $475 for a special reserved table of eight (8).&lt;/p&gt;
